Great old cabinet and update on the robins' nests

This old storage cabinet is in the garage, each drawer filled with various hand tools....wrenches, screwdrivers, sockets, all that "guy stuff".....
I could sure use it for storing MY stuff!
I don't even know where it came from........
It's at least 6 feet tall and has scads of drawers! 26 in all, and some missing in the bottom

old wood knobs, some have been replaced .....I would love to have it but he just won't give it up!
*******
Remember my post on the multiple robins' nests built under my deck?
6 RoBiN'S NESTS IN A ROW!!! Under my deck!
Well,, they are still vacant!

Those robins are still around though......I can hear them constantly.......I hear them singing all day long!
I took this picture last week, today it is RAINING AGAIN!
I have lots to do though, so I'll keep busy inside. Tomorrow? GARAGE SALES......YIPPEE!
Wish me luck and have a great weekend!

Hi Lucy, I am delighted you visited The Vintage Nest and hope you'll come by often. The door is always open. That storage chest is just Awesome. I would just have to figure out a way to get it out of the garage and in the house. Even if you still use it to store tools ....put it in the house. We have a large antique chest of drawers in the family room and the top drawer is full of tools. :) And I love that bird photo you captured! Have fun garage saling tomorrow. I will be doing the same. xo

I so love that chest ~ any way he might take a trade (if you could find him something that could Wow him out of it)? I am in the middle of major house (including my studio) makeover. So I am in the mind set of changing things around. Hope you found some really cool stuff at your GS shopping! Many blessings sweet Lucy!

Sweet Lucy...
I would just HAVE to have that vintage storage unit in my studio! I can think of all of things I could put in it right now...he must relent & let you have it. Tell him that where it's at now, it is not getting the appreciation that it deserves. He could use any kind of dresser to store his things, but for you...this would be priceless...
Love it!!!
Good Luck,
Smiles,
Susie
