Soartful Challenge

Well, I actually got the Soartful Challenge done! I had no idea what to do with the image but once I got going it seemed to come together and as I always have loved blue, I'm quite happy with the way it turned out! I have yet to learn how to work with text so, a very simple NOEL was added.
Below is the image given, the rest is up to each individual!

I'll catch you up on the weekend later

Thanks Chris! I use Photoshop but I will check it out and see if it is similar enough.

Lucy I like this shade of blue too.
It works so nicely with your sweet angels. Did you do the fabulous texture with Photoshop? I've given up for awhile on learning my Photoshop Elements. I'll master it one of these days.

Thanks for being Soartful.

Thanks for the comments. Jeanette...I use Photoshop Elements 8 and without this class would have been putting it on the backburner for the next 5 years! Best 40.00 I ever spent and am going to take another class after Christmas. There's a link to the website with all the classes at Creative Workshop on the right. Check it out! I didn't make the textured background, it's an image of a net curtain from Painting with Brushes on Flickr.

Beautiful blue, Lucy! Great work! I work with Photoshop, and I took a really basic class. The rest I'm just learning as I go. When I first started, the layers had me really confused, but then it just sort of clicked for me. It's so much fun! ~Lori
